Sanur Beaches
From north to south, you’ll find multiple prominent Sanur beaches linked by a paved footpath. From the southern end, Sanur beaches start from Mertasari Beach, Segara Ayu Beach, Pantai Karang, and Sindhu Beach, ending at one of the most famous coasts on Sanur, Grand Bali Beach.
Bali Seawalker
Walking underwater to witness the tropical marine life and beautiful reefs from close can be a fantastic experience you’ll enjoy at the Bali Seawalker. You’ll have the chance to explore the bottom of the blue ocean on foot for 30 min. No matter if you don’t have swimming skills or diving experience, skilled guides will help you out.
Le Mayeur Museum
Behind a row of souvenir and art stalls right on the central Sanur Beach, Sindhum, you’ll find the memorial Le Mayeur Museum showcasing the personal history and artworks of Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur de Merpres, Brussels-born painter impressed by the beauty of Bali and coasts of Sanur. The building enjoys classic Balinese elements, red terrazzo floor tiles, sculpted stone walls, and carved wooden furnishes.
Bali Sharks
Also named the Serangan Shark Island Project, Bali Sharks is a private nature conservation project to save and preserve white tip and black-tip reef sharks in Indonesia. You’ll find the chance to swim and snorkel with sharks, explore a marine garden aquarium and a turtle hatchery.
Blanjong Temple
Dating back to 914 A.D., Blanjong Temple is a stone pillar victory monument with Sanskrit inscriptions. The temple is famous as Bali’s oldest artifacts, built by King Sri Kesari Warmadewa, the first king of the Balinese Warmadewa dynasty. It houses several animal figures and statues of Hindu lord Ganesh.
Turtle Conservation and Education Center (TCEC)
The Turtle Conservation and Education Center (TCEC) is a nursery, hatchery, and sanctuary for rescued turtles. The turtles are preserved in open-air pools, which are separated based on the turtles’ size.
Bali Kites Festival
Bali Kites Festival, one of Bali’s major provincial calendar highlights, is an annual event holds at Padanggalak Beach on the northern end of Sanur. Don’t miss out on the ceremony of thousands of traditional, gigantic colorful kites, and remember to bring your camera. It’s often held between July and August, during the windy season.
