Start your tour at the main City market, which was opened in 1904. Get a comprehensive view of the Stone Town architecture, its sand and stone ancient built houses, some of them have Arab/Indian with carved doors with brass studs, and carved balconies.

Continue to the Old Post Office and the house where Freddy Mercury was born. Stop at the Anglican Cathedral of Christ, on the site of the Old Slave Market.

From here, continue to the Sultans Palace Museum, House of Wonders (Beit-el-ajaib), and the Old Arab Fort. Finish your tour at the Forodhani Garden.

Stage 1

This 3 hours guided walking tour shall take you to one of the seven world heritage sites in Tanzania. It is the only one on the islands of Zanzibar. It was declared an official World Heritage site by UNESCO in 2000 for it’s unique architecture, history & culture. You will pleasantly and continuously be stunned with beauty of the city which is decorated by the peoples smiles & friendliness. As you explore all the narrow alleys and streets which leads to the local souvenir bazaar you will have ample time to shop around. The tour will also visit the former slave market, house of wonders, the old fort and even pass by where Freddie Mercury was born. This surely is a tour not to miss.
