Tour Plan

Depart via the National highway to the majestic Peloponnese peninsula. On the way to Nemea, make a brief stop to admire the magnificent landscape at the famous Corinth canal, the so-called Isthmus in Greek. Capture the most incredible panoramic pictures of the crossroad of the Peloponnese Peninsula with Central Greece and the Aegean with the Ionian Sea.

Go on a journey to a modern, but rare, and unknown to many wine world, full of genuineness and history. Peloponnese grape varieties are regarded as the treasure of native Greek grape varieties. Discover the native Peloponnese grape varieties that not only reflect the diversity of Greek and Peloponnesian wine, but also the significance of some special Greek varieties. Among the native grape varieties are two of the four most well-known grapes of the Greek vineyard in the world’s best markets: the exotic Moschofilero-Mantinia and the amazing Agiorgitiko-Nemea. Additionally, Mavrodafni is known for the popular Greek dessert wine and Muscat produces sweet and potentially glorious wines along with many more rare grape varieties.

Delve into Greece's most important red-wine appellation, located in the northeast corner of the Peloponnese peninsula. The mountains and valleys surrounding the area of Nemea have been making wine for centuries, mainly from the native Agiorgitiko grape, ranging from rich dry wines to lighter, sweeter examples. Here, visit 1 contemporary winery situated in the greater area.

Your driver will drive you to the second winery located a 25 minute drive away in the nearby area of Argos.

After a full day of a wine adventure, pass by the stunning seaport town of Nafplio, the first capital of modern Greece, for a brief stop. Wander around its charming alleys and feel the magic of one of the most picturesque cities in Greece.

Back on the minivan, to drive back to Athens to drop you off at your hotel.
