Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is a fully indoor, airconditioned theme park located on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, with approximately 1.65 million sq ft of immersive entertainment space. Opened July 25, 2018, it was developed by Miral under a Warner Bros. license at a cost of about US $1 billion
Six Immersive Lands
The park is divided into six themed lands, each inspired by beloved characters and franchises :
- Warner Bros. Plaza: A glamorous ArtDeco introduction resembling 1930s Hollywood. Features golden skyscrapers, a skyprojection ceiling (fireworks by night), themed shops and eateries such as Starlight Restaurant, Hollywood Trattoria, and more, plus the Cinema Spectacular show.
- Gotham City (DC Comics): Dark streets, Batman-themed rides like Batman: Knight Flight, the coaster The Riddler Revolution, and the immersive Scarecrow Scare Raid 5D thrill ride. Villains and heroes abound as live performers roam the area.
- Metropolis (DC Comics): Gleaming cityscape of Superman and Justice League. Highlights include Justice League: Warworld Attacks 5D battle, Green Lantern: Galactic Odyssey, Superman 360: Battle for Metropolis, and a Justice League Training Academy for kids The Sun.
- Cartoon Junction: Brings to life Looney Tunes and HannaBarbera classics. You'll find family rides like the Cartoon Junction Carousel and Ricochet Racin' with Taz, along with interactive shows and opportunities to meet characters like Bugs Bunny and Scooby Doo.
- Bedrock: A prehistoric funland themed on The Flintstones, featuring a river logflume ride, themed dining, characters, and shops.
- Dynamite Gulch: A wild, cartoonish desert zone populated by Wile E. Coyote, Road Runner, Marvin the Martian and The Jetsons. Features the Fast & Furryous inverted coaster and other lively attractions.
In total, Warner Bros. World features 29 state-of-the-art rides, plus interactive family attractions and live entertainment across all lands
