About This Tour

Immerse yourself in the wild beauty of northern Thailand on this 2-day jungle adventure in Mae Taeng. This off-the-beaten-path experience combines thrilling river tubing, a visit to a local elephant sanctuary, and a refreshing natural waterfall slide—all in one unforgettable journey.

On Day 1, enjoy a scenic drive from Chiang Mai to our peaceful base camp tucked away in the forest. After changing into swimwear and a short safety briefing, float down the Mae Taeng River on a tubing adventure surrounded by dense jungle, local villages, and possibly even elephants bathing along the riverbank. Then, get up close and personal with gentle giants at Sunshine for Elephants, where you’ll prepare food and feed them in an ethical, hands-off environment.

Later, take a short walk to Saa Gee Waterfalls to slide into cool natural pools before returning to base camp. End your day with a Thai dinner and a restful overnight stay in our jungle dormitory under the stars.

On Day 2, wake to the sounds of nature, enjoy a fresh breakfast, and relax before returning to Chiang Mai around midday.

Perfect for nature lovers and adventure seekers who want to experience authentic jungle life in comfort.
