About This Tour

Escape into the heart of Mae Taeng for a truly immersive 2-day jungle experience. This adventure takes you deep into Northern Thailand’s natural beauty — trek through lush forests to the hidden Tard Mok Waterfall, float down the serene Mae Taeng River on a tubing journey, and cool off at the jungle’s secret gem, Saa Gee Waterfalls.

During your tubing ride, you’ll pass by the famous Elephant Nature Park, where you may spot elephants and buffalo bathing near the riverbanks. After a full day of activities, return to our peaceful jungle base camp and check into your private Jungle Pool Villa, surrounded by trees, birdsong, and starlit skies.

In the evening, enjoy a delicious Thai dinner and rest in comfort. On Day 2, wake up to the sounds of nature, have a hearty breakfast, and head back to Chiang Mai refreshed.

For those seeking a deeper connection with wildlife, you can add on an ethical elephant feeding experience, where you’ll prepare food and feed rescued elephants by hand in a natural, respectful setting.

This experience is perfect for adventurous travelers, couples, and nature lovers looking for an authentic, off-the-beaten-path retreat in Chiang Mai.

Meeting / Pickup

Meet on location or pick-up: Customers can come to our location or we can pick them up on request.

Please Note

  • The jungle trek to Tard Mok follows streamside paths with uneven terrain, large rocks, and rustic bridges—some sections can be slippery when wet. Wear sturdy hiking shoes with good grip.
  • Expect hot, humid weather and bring a refillable water bottle, insect repellent, and sun protection (hat, sunscreen).
  • Small lockers are available at base camp for storing belongings during the trek, tubing, and elephant visit.
  • For children, a parent may carry younger kids during tubing for safety and comfort.
  • Pickup/drop-off times and overall schedule may vary depending on group size and road conditions.
  • A photo of a passport is required (for insurance)
  • The color of the river constantly changes depending on rainfall. After heavy rain, the river may take on a deeper hue as it carries natural sediments from the surrounding soil.
  • The floating area is generally calm with some rocks. The water depth varies by season, ranging from approximately 30 cm to 1.5 m.
