About This Tour

Dive into the heart of Mae Taeng with this full-day excursion. Begin with a scenic 1½-hour drive from Chiang Mai to Tubing Chiang Mai base camp, nestled in a lush jungle valley

Embark on a guided trek through rich forest and bamboo groves, following streams to the breathtaking hidden Tard Mok Waterfall (approx. 2–3 hrs). Take time to swim, relax, and capture stunning photos

After a satisfying Thai lunch and some downtime at camp, slide into your tube for a gentle river tubing adventure on the Mae Taeng River (1.3 hrs). Drift past serene jungle scenery and near Elephant Nature Park—you might even glimpse elephants or water buffalo in the wild

The day culminates with a memorable visit to Sunshine for Elephants, an ethical elephant-care project. You’ll prepare food and hand-feed rescued elephants in a compassionate, non-ride experience that supports their rehabilitation

Wind down with hot drinks, snacks, and a warm shower before being comfortably returned to Chiang Mai around 6:30–7:00 PM.

Meeting / Pickup

Meet on location or pick-up: Customers can come to our location or we can pick them up on request.

Please Note

Please note: Pickup, drop-off, and overall schedule may vary depending on traffic and the number of participants on the tour day.
A photo of your passport is required for insurance purposes.
For small children, we recommend sitting on a parent’s lap during the tubing activity for added safety and comfort.
The jungle trek to Tard Mok Waterfall follows streamside trails with uneven terrain, large rocks, and rustic bridges. Some sections may be slippery when wet. Please wear sturdy shoes with a good grip.
Expect hot and humid weather. We recommend bringing a refillable water bottle, insect repellent, and sun protection (hat, sunscreen).
River color may vary due to seasonal changes and natural clay sediment—this is normal and safe.
The tubing area is generally calm but may contain some rocks. Water depth ranges from approximately 30 cm to 1.5 meters, depending on the season.
