The views from Tsarevets Fortress left me breathless, showcasing the stunning beauty of Veliko Tarnovo. I appreciated the small group size for a more personal experience, though a bit more time in Arbanassi would have made the day even better.

We were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our small group outing from Sofia to Veliko Tarnovo in Bulgaria. The transportation was smooth, and it was nice to share the experience with fellow travelers who were just as excited about the stunning architecture and rich history as we were. A minor suggestion would be to allow a bit more time in Arbanassi; we loved the quaint charm but felt a bit rushed to explore everything.

Exploring Veliko Tarnovo was a highlight for our family, especially wandering through the charming streets of Arbanassi. The small group atmosphere made it easy to connect with our guide, who shared fascinating stories about the region’s history while we admired the stunning views from the fortress. One suggestion would be to include a bit more time for lunch, as we felt a bit rushed to enjoy the local cuisine.
