Half Day Siem Reap Sightseeing
Our guide will pick you up at your hotel around 08:00 – 08:30 and proceed to the magnificent Angkor Complex - the largest religious building in the world, represents Mount Meru. In Hindu mythology this was the home of the gods and the kings of Angkor were gods. Angkor is a vast and mysterious complex of soaring towers, mysterious faces, and exquisite sculptures.
Your first stop will be the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. Few places anywhere on Earth match the splendor of Angkor Wat, a veritable lost city in the midst of the Cambodian jungle. It is visually, architecturally and artistically breathtaking. It is a massive three-tiered pyramid crowned by five lotus-like towers rising 65 meters from ground level. Angkor Wat is the centerpiece of any visit to the temples of Angkor.
We will then enjoy an extraordinary view from above and have extraordinary photo opportunities with a balloon ride over the Angkor Complex. Angkor Wat, Phnom Bakheng, West Baray and many others can be seen from up high. Back to Siem Reap and tour ends around 12PM.
