Dolphin watching in their natural habitat, in the waters of the Professor Luiz Saldanha Marine Park or in the Sado River estuary, both located within the Arrábida Natural Park.
The target species for observation are the common dolphin (Delphinus delphis) and the bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus). It is also possible to observe other marine species, such as orcas, pilot whales, sharks, and sunfish, although these sightings are uncommon.
This tour is guided by a marine biologist experienced in identifying the behavioral patterns of various marine species.
Although we are familiar with many of their habits, it is important for observers to understand that these animals live in the wild and their exact location cannot be predicted, which means we embark on a daily adventure to find them.
While natural conditions may sometimes make sightings more difficult, we are committed to doing our best to ensure you have the opportunity to observe them, always with safety as our top priority.
Daydream Experience holds an official license (AOC/21/2022) to conduct Cetacean Watching activities, issued by ICNF (Institute for Nature Conservation and Forests), the regulatory and protective authority of the Professor Luiz Saldanha Marine Park.
