Sardinia Tour: 7‑Day Self‑Drive Itinerary with 24/7 Local Guide

$1,722
Duration
7 days
Difficulty

Discover Sardinia at your own pace on a flexible 7-day self-drive campervan (RV) tour with real, in-person local support. This experience combines the freedom of a road trip with the reassurance of an escorted tour: you drive your own car towing a fully equipped mini-camper, while a local host follows in a support vehicle and is available 24/7.

Departing from Olbia, the itinerary covers some of Sardinia’s most iconic and unspoiled areas, including Cala Brandinchi, Cala Gonone, Cala Goloritzè, La Maddalena, Caprera and the Golfo di Orosei. Daily driving distances are short (around 1–2 hours), leaving plenty of time for beach-hopping, swimming, snorkeling, short hikes, photography stops and relaxed evenings at scenic campsites.

Your mini-camper is equipped with a comfortable bed, kitchen facilities, storage and onboard utilities for a practical and comfortable journey. The local guide handles campsite setup, ferry logistics, vehicle handover and provides route tips, safety guidance and restaurant recommendations. Optional activities such as boat trips, wine tastings or short guided visits can be arranged along the way.

This escorted self-drive format offers maximum flexibility: suggested stages can be adapted, days swapped or slowed down to suit your travel style. Small group sizes ensure personal attention and a relaxed atmosphere, making this experience ideal for couples, families and small groups looking for an authentic, off-the-beaten-path Sardinia adventure with hands-on local support.
