Ol Pejeta Conservancy is the only sanctuary for rehabilitation of abused chimpanzees and also a dedicated black rhinoceros breeding area.
The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 360 km² not-for-profit wildlife conservancy in Central Kenya's Laikipia County. Situated on the equator west of Nanyuki, between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy is the only wildlife protection areas that many endangered species home. Besides the Big five & visit the largest black rhino sanctuary and learn about efforts made to conserve.

Day 1

Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Day 1

Departing from Nairobi after breakfast, you'll make the drive north to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
Home to both the Big Five and the Special Five (Grevy's Zebra, Rothschild Giraffe, Besia Oryx, Somali Ostrich, and Gerenuk), the conservancy offers a fantastic game drive experience the likes of which you won't be able to find in other parks.
There are then a variety of activities that visitors can choose from for their afternoon such as lion tracking, visiting the chimpanzee sanctuary, visiting Baraka, the blind black rhino, or exploring the Education Centre.
You'll then overnight at Sweetwaters Serena Tented Camp or similar

Ol-Pejeta to Nairobi

Day 2

Early breakfast at the camp and thereafter proceed for a morning game drive till around 11 am. Thereafter, check out of the camp with packed lunch to arrive Nairobi in the evening with drop off at your hotel or at the airport.
