Ratnapura Gem Mine Tour: Waterfalls, Scenic Views & Saman Devalaya

You can start your Tour at Your Hotel in Colombo. This goes southeast via Avissawella through every shade and tone of rich green to yellow-green of the rubber plantations, paddy fields, and tea estates. Before reaching Ratnapura you will visit the Bopath Ella waterfalls with a height of approximately 100 feet or 30 meters. On to Ratnapura, City of Gems and see Adam’s Peak (in the distance) – a 2,243m mountain venerated by Buddhists, Hindus, and Muslims. After lunch, visit one of the famous gem mines of Ratnapura.
