In the town of El Chalten, Santa Cruz, we found the Rio de Las Vueltas which originates at Lake Desert to 506 meters above the sea. Its most important tributaries are the Rio Electric, and the Rio Fitz Roy both glacial (Marconi Glacier and Glacier Torre respectively). By the morphology of the river and the unique beauty of the place, you will be able to enjoy the experience of rafting in this area. In addition, you will have a previous talk about technique and safety in this activity.

We had an amazing time navigating the twists and turns of the beautiful river, surrounded by stunning landscapes that made every moment feel special. The guides were knowledgeable and made sure our family felt safe while also encouraging us to enjoy the thrills. One minor hiccup was the transportation to the starting point; it felt a bit cramped, but once we hit the water, all was forgotten.

Paddling down the river was a breathtaking experience, with the jagged peaks rising majestically in the background as I navigated the twists and turns. While the staff were knowledgeable and friendly, I did find the group size a bit larger than I’d prefer, which occasionally made it hard to hear instructions clearly.

We took a fantastic four-hour rafting trip that had us weaving through stunning landscapes with towering peaks as our backdrop. The guides were knowledgeable and made safety a priority, but we did find the instructions a bit rushed at times, which led to some confusion. Overall, it was a memorable experience that had us laughing and bonding as a family while navigating the twists of the river.
