Day 1 The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities

Pickup starts at 8:00 am from your hotel in Cairo or Giza by the guide to take you to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. It displays the largest and most precious items of the Egyptian art in the world. It exhibits a rare collection of over 250,000 genuine artifacts that date as far back as 5000 years, including an exclusive exhibit dedicated to the Tutankhamen. A collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry that were buried in his tomb for over 3,500 years before they were discovered in 1920 when his tomb was excavated.

Next we will go to the Citadel of Cairo where we will visit the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha.

Day 1 Coptic Cairo

After lunch visit Old Cairo, known as Christian Coptic Cairo. It is among the most important locations visited by the Holy Family, where the spiritual impact of their presence is most felt still, even though their stay was brief, for the Governor of what was then Fustat enraged by the tumbling down of idols at Jesus’s approach sought to kill the Child. They took shelter from his wrath in a cave above which, in later years, the Church of Abu Serga (St Sergius) was built. This and the whole area of the Fort of Babylon is a destination of pilgrimage not only for the Egyptians but for Christians from around the world. An air of piety and devotion pervades the whole district there. Also, there you will be able to visit and enter the Church of Abu-Sergah and St. Barbara, the hanging church, and the old Jewish synagogue – Ben Ezra Synagogue.

The trip to Đồng Hới was filled with breathtaking experiences, especially the exploration of Paradise Cave’s vast chambers and the thrill of venturing into the Dark Cave, where zip-lining added an extra layer of excitement. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the itinerary balanced adventure with relaxation, allowing time to unwind on the scenic beaches, soaking in the sun with gentle waves lapping at the shore. Each evening spent in cozy accommodations brought a sense of comfort, complemented by friendly local interactions that enhanced my experience. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to include more time for swimming at the beaches, as I found them truly inviting. Overall, this journey offered a delightful mix of nature’s wonders and serene coastal beauty.

Exploring the stunning Paradise Cave and the exhilarating Dark Cave made our multi-day adventure feel truly unique. We loved the blend of scenic beaches and breathtaking landscapes, which were perfect for some relaxing downtime after our explorations. One suggestion would be to offer more local dining options; while the meals were satisfying, we would have enjoyed a deeper taste of the region’s culinary delights.

The adventure through the stunning caves near Đồng Hới was a highlight of my trip; walking through Paradise Cave felt like stepping into another world. I was especially taken with the delicious local seafood I enjoyed at a beachside restaurant, where the fresh flavors complemented the beautiful scenery. My only suggestion would be to allow a bit more time to linger at the beaches, as they truly are a serene escape.

Our group had an unforgettable experience delving into the extraordinary caves and relaxing on the stunningly scenic beaches. Each day was packed with adventure, from the breathtaking beauty of the underground wonders to the thrill of zip-lining and swimming in the dark cave’s cool waters. One minor tweak would be to provide a bit more time for meals at local spots, as we truly enjoyed trying the regional flavors but felt a little rushed at times.
