Tour Plan

Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Nairobi and head to Gatura Greens, Gatanga. Upon arrival, enjoy tea and biscuits while the host gives an informal history about the farm.

After an introductory tea tasting, head out to the purple tea farm. Learn how to pick tea and pick some purple tea yourself. Take the tea back to the farm and learn how to make your very own specialty orthodox tea.

Roast the tea, roll it by hand, dry it, and pack it for yourself to take home. After making your very own hand-picked and rolled purple tea, head off to a waterfall trek through a beautiful bamboo forest. Finish off with a refreshing dip at the waterfall by the farm.

Return to the farmhouse in time for a farm-fresh 3-course meal. Crown the day with a bonfire in the gardens as you leave at your pleasure. If you would like to visit the speciality cottage factory, you can do so at this point.

Later proceed to nairobi drop off at the hotel or airport
