the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut known as El Dir El Bahari was built by Queen Hatshepsut the daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt for about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately 1490-1469 B.C), the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt.
Continue to the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues that have stood guard for over 3,400 years.
Cross over to the East Bank to visit the Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex ever built by man. Walk through the grand Hypostyle Hall, and marvel at the towering columns and intricate hieroglyphs.
Proceed to the Luxor Temple, constructed by Amenhotep III and later completed by Ramesses II. This temple was dedicated to the great god Amun-Ra, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu, forming the Theban triad.
