Explore these UNESCO World Heritage Sites at your own pace. Visit Haghpat Monastery to learn about the architecture of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Haghpat Monastery, founded by Queen Khosrovanush (wife of King Ashot III of Armenia) in 976. It consists of one narthex, two corridors-tombs, a refectory, a scriptorium, a Hamazasp chapel, a bell tower, several chapels. Tombs and crosses (khachkars).
Noah's Land offers a tour of the Sanahin and Akhtala monasteries in the Lori district of Armenia, which date back to the 10th century. Sanahin was the administrative center and family tomb of the Kurikian Bagratids (10th and 11th centuries), as well as the episcopal residence of the diocese (until the 11th century).
