Tour Plan

Pick-up from your hotel early in the morning.
You will cross a part of the greek mainland passing through historical greek cities. Grasp the chance to learn about them thanks to our tour leader who will orientate you!
A short stop will allow you to taste a refreshing juice or a greek coffee with a traditional cheese pie.
The route to Meteora is approximately 4 hours.

You will visit 2-3 Monasteries, where you will climb up to the rocks while having a panoramic view of this unique scenery with the giant "sculptured" rocks. This breathtaking scenery was used as a background for the famous series "Games of Thrones". Inside the monasteries you will see colorfull gardens, stone caves, old curches and you will get an idea about how the monks and the nuns live up there. In their museums you will come across some precious treasures consisting of old icons, books and brondery.
Depending on the monastery location, you will stay 40-60 mintes at each of them. Then the driver will be taking you to the next one while making a few stops at the most impressive photo spots so that you take some amazing pictures.(entrance fee: 2€ per person)

Early in the afternoon, you will enjoy your lucnh at one of the traditional restaurants at the bottom of the huge rocks. Do not omit to try a shot of the locally produced "Tsipouro", that will offer you an unexpected sense of euphoria! (Optional: not included in the price)

Late in the evening, you will be back to your hotel with your memory enriched with colourful images and legendary stories, and your camera full of "likes-attracting" pictures!

On the way back to Athens, you will make a short stop at Thermopylae, where the worldwide famous "300" soldiers fought against the Persians in 480 BC
