Private Princes' Islands Tour

We will meet in front of the Kadıköy–Beşiktaş Ferry Station to take our ferry to the islands. The ferry ride takes around one hour.

If another port is closer to you, we’re happy to arrange to meet there—just ask!

We can also organize a private transfer from your accommodation or private sea transportation. Just let us know.

We’ll arrive at Burgazada, the most peaceful and authentic of the four Princess Islands.

To settle into the island’s calm vibe, we’ll start with a delicious coffee or tea, enjoyed with a beautiful sea view.

After our coffee, we’ll begin our walk — and our first stop is the former home of one of the most important authors in Turkish literature. Yes, this is the very house he once lived in.

We will visit one of the most important churches on the island, Aya Yani Kilisesi. It's up to you whether you'd like to go inside, but even from the outside, you can admire its unique Greek Orthodox church architecture.

Next, we’ll head to a hidden beach named after the island’s most famous woman of the time. Here, you’ll find a beautiful stone bay with all the unique essentials for a peaceful escape by the sea. If you’d like to swim and relax, please bring your swimsuit and swimming shoes, as it’s a rocky bay. It’s definitely one of the most unique places to swim in Istanbul.

After a short hike from the beach, we’ll pass by a mosque that features island-style architecture and offers stunning views of the islands from inside. We can visit the mosque, or if you'd prefer, you can simply enjoy the views — it’s all up to you!

Afterwards, we can enjoy an island-style lunch or take a fun speed boat ride to say goodbye to the islands. If you'd prefer not to have lunch on the island, you’re welcome to head back with the next available ferry with your guide — totally up to you!
