Your first stop is Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. Spend some time walking around the red sandstone courtyard. It was built in 1656 with the help of 5,000 workers. It is situated in front of the royal residence, 'Red Fort', in the midst of Chandni Chowk.

Stage 2

Chandni Chowk in Delhi is a bustling market dating back to the 17th century, known for its vibrant lanes filled with shops, street food, and historical landmarks like Jama Masjid and Red Fort. It offers a glimpse into Old Delhi's rich cultural tapestry with its diverse offerings, from traditional textiles and spices to mouth-watering local cuisine, making it a must-visit for tourists and a hub of activity for locals alike.

Stage 3

It is said that in the year 1664, the eighth Sikh Guru came to visit the King and cured people who were contracted with smallpox and cholera epidemics by distributing them water from the tank. That water tank, used by the Guru, still exists today inside the Gurudwara and is believed to possess medicinal properties.

Stage 4

It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it is the first garden tomb in India. The sole purpose of Humayun's wife was to build this tomb after his death. You can either visit Humayun Tomb or Akshardham Temple.

Stage 5

The 1921 'Tomb of the Unknown Soldier' has the names of 13,300 Indian army servicemen carved on the wall who died during the First World War.

Stage 6

After seeing India Gate, you will also drive past Parliament House. You can take pictures and continue to your next monument.

Stage 7

It is an exquisite blend of Indian and Western architectural styles, featuring intricate carvings, majestic domes, and sprawling gardens. Its vastness and opulence showcase the power and prestige of the Indian presidency.

Stage 8

It is the tallest minaret, built in 1192 with bricks. It is also a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, situated in Mehrauli. The area around it is known as the Qutub complex.

Stage 9

Tourists can explore the Lotus Temple's serene surroundings, stroll through its immaculately manicured gardens, and marvel at its breathtaking architecture. Inside the temple, they can participate in silent prayers or meditation, soak up the peaceful atmosphere, and perhaps learn more about the Bahá'í Faith and its teachings.
