Take a local ferry

You will cross a local ferry Binh Khanh and on the other side of the ferry, you will enter a whole different world.

Visit Hang Duong seafood market

Our first stop is the local seafood market selling a wide variety of freshly caught seafood such as crabs, shrimp, clams, scallops, squid, oysters, and many kinds of fish—all at very reasonable prices. Known for its bustling atmosphere and incredibly fresh offerings, this local market is the heart of Cần Giờ’s seafood trade.

Visit the Temple of the Whale God

Continue on to the beach of Can Thanh town where life revolves around the sea. Most families here have been involved in fishing for generations. Visit the Temple of the Whale God (also known as the Temple of Water General or Lang Ong Thuy Tuong), primarily dedicated to the Whale God, revered as the sacred guardian and protector of fishermen and seafarers.
