This trip will take you to the area of Almopia where the thermal springs of Pozar (under the fire in Slavic language) are located at the foothills of Mountain Voras. There the facilities of Pozar baths are located, with its 48 individual baths, 6 indoor pools and the outdoor big pool. It's a perfect place to relax and wash away the anxiety of urban life. Visit also the beautiful waterfalls in Edessa, stroll around its natural park and have lunch by waterfalls. Return to Thessaloniki in the afternoon.

Stage 1

Imagine yourself in a pool amidst steep rocks, natural waterfalls and wild vegetation. Feel the soothing warmth of the water (37⁰C) taking the strain off your body, and let your eyes wander around the verdant gorge where Agios Nikolaos (Saint Nicholas) stream flows, (aka Thermopotamos meaning 'hot river' in Greek). Heighten your senses in this pristine nature where green is King and even the branches of the trees (mainly planes and willows) are all covered in luxuriant ivy. Relish the stimulating sensation of the 37 degrees crystal clear waters in the outdoor pool that is surrounded by the wild!

Stage 2

In the city of Edessa we are visit its unique waterfalls and stroll around its beautiful natural park. Also, optional stop for lunch by the waterfalls.
