Bo-Kaap Stop: 20 minutes

Bo-Kaap is a vibrant and culturally rich neighborhood located in Cape Town, South Africa. Known for its brightly colored houses and cobblestone streets, it is one of the city's most iconic and historic areas. Bo-Kaap dates back to the 1760s, when numerous rental houses were built and leased to slaves. These slaves were primarily brought from Malaysia, Indonesia, and various African countries by the Dutch East India Company. The neighborhood has a strong Muslim influence, as many of the early residents were Muslim slaves,The vibrant, brightly painted houses are one of Bo-Kaap's most distinctive features. The tradition of painting houses in bright colors is said to have started as an expression of freedom and joy after the end of apartheid.

Table Mountain Stop: 90 minutes - Admission excluded

Table Mountain, Afrikaans Tafelberg, flat-topped mountain in southwestern South Africa, overlooking Cape Town and Table Bay and dominating the northern end of the high, rocky Cape Peninsula. Its tabular shape results from nearly horizontal layers of sandstone exposed by vigorous wind and water erosion.
