Exploring the lush landscapes of Wilpattu National Park was a highlight, especially when we spotted a majestic leopard lounging under a tree; however, the long drive from Negombo in Sri Lanka might not suit everyone’s schedule.

Our day began with a smooth ride from Negombo, where we enjoyed breathtaking views that set the tone for our adventure. The thrill of spotting a majestic elephant in Wilpattu National Park was unforgettable, though the heat made some moments a bit challenging.

The private safari experience offered a fantastic chance to observe wildlife in their natural habitat, especially the elusive leopards that I was eager to see. While the all-inclusive aspect made the day seamless, I felt that the lunch could have been more varied and exciting. Overall, it was a rewarding adventure that brought me closer to nature and was well worth the long day.
