First, walk through the famous “Siq”, a narrow path of 1.2 kilometers; rock fissure that was once the main entrance to the city, and marvel at your first glimpse of the hauntingly beautiful Treasury “Al - Khazneh”

As the canyon suddenly opens up. Admire this rose-pink masterpiece, originally built to house priceless treasures and capture it on camera. After around two hours of exploring, enjoy free time. If time permits you can climb up the Monastery on your own or the High Place of Sacrifice: a clifftop altar that was once used for animal sacrifices and other ceremonies.

1. Amman (Pass By)

Pick up from your hotel in Amman at 7 a.m., after the drive, you will arrive at Allenby Bridge for immigration procedure to the other side.

2. Jerusalem

Start the classic tour visit with a drive to the top of Mount of Olives believed Jesus ascended to heaven. You will enjoy a magnificent view of ancient and modern Jerusalem, the center of the heavenly 3 world religions. Proceed with a walk down the Palm Sunday Road visiting the Chapel of Dominus Flevit, where Jesus wept.

3. Al Masjid Al Aqsa

Continue with a walking tour of the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations, where Christ prayed on the night of his betrayal. Visit Damascus Gate, then, head to the old city of Jerusalem and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the tomb of Jesus Christ. Proceed to visit the last standing remnant of the ancient Temple at the Western Wailing Wall, also visit the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and Dome of the Rock. (Please note there are scheduled timings for these visits, subject to prayer times and security). Free time for lunch and to explore on your own.

4. Church of the Nativity of St John the Baptist

Depart in the afternoon to Bethlehem to visit the Nativity Church marking the birthplace of Jesus. Visit the Grotto Church, the Church of Saint Catherine, and Saint Jerome Caves where the bible was translated from Hebrew to Latin. Continue to the Shepherds' Field in Beit Sahour, believed where the angels appeared announcing the birth of Jesus. Transfer back to Allenby Bridge for departure. After immigration return to Amman and transfer to your hotel.

From the moment we stepped away from the bustle of the capital, the day unfolded like a vivid tapestry of history and culture. Our local guide, whose passion for the area was palpable, enriched our exploration with stories that brought the stunning rock-carved architecture to life, especially the mesmerizing façade that seemed to glow in the sunlight. While the journey itself was long, we found the scenic views along the route provided a perfect backdrop for reflecting on our experiences. One small drawback was the occasional crowds at major sites, which made it hard to fully absorb the atmosphere. Nevertheless, the charm of the red-hued formations and intricate ruins far outweighed this minor inconvenience. We returned feeling not just informed but truly connected to the marvels we had seen, thanks to our guide’s engaging insights. Overall, it was a remarkable day that allowed us to immerse ourselves in a place rich with stories and beauty.

Our adventure to the red rose city began with a comfortable drive from Amman to Wadi Musa, where the landscape gradually shifted to reveal stunning vistas of rugged mountains. Our local guide was both knowledgeable and personable, effortlessly weaving historical tales with insights about the present-day culture. As we explored Petra, we were continually awed by the intricate carvings nestled within the rock formations and the sheer scale of the site itself.

One minor drawback was the occasional crowds, which made some areas feel a bit rushed, but our guide skillfully navigated us through the busy spots with ease. We appreciated how he encouraged us to take our time at the more serene viewpoints, allowing us to absorb the beauty surrounding us. The return trip to Amman was equally smooth, giving us a chance to reflect on the day as we watched the sun set over the landscape. Overall, it was a memorable experience that truly showcased the wonders of this ancient city.
