Itinerary
safari tour at Yala National Park and witnessing the wide range of animals such as leopards, bears, elephants, deer, crocodiles, and many more who roam freely in the wild. Yala National Park is a national park in Sri Lanka. The reserve covers 979 km², although only the original 141 km² are open to the public. It was established in 1894 as a Game Sanctuary. Much of the reserve is parkland, but it also contains jungle, beaches, freshwater lakes and rivers and scrubland. The latter zone is punctuated with enormous rocky outcrops. The range of habitats give rise to a good range of wildlife. The Yala National Park Safari Tour from Ella brings you the great opportunity of experiencing a soothing village environment along with the rich cultural composition of Yala.

Our adventure in Dambulla was unforgettable, especially the exhilarating whale and dolphin watching off Pasikudha Beach—seeing those majestic creatures breach the surface was simply magical. We loved our charming accommodations, which provided a perfect blend of comfort and local character, making us feel at home. One suggestion would be to allow a bit more time for cultural exploration, as we were left wanting to dive deeper into the rich heritage surrounding us.

Exploring the vibrant marine life off the coast was one of the highlights of our time in Dambulla, with breathtaking encounters with dolphins and majestic whales. The cultural experiences we enjoyed, like visiting ancient temples, beautifully complemented our beach adventures at Pasikudha. Our only suggestion would be to add a bit more time for relaxation on the beach, as we found ourselves wanting to linger longer in that stunning setting.

Diving into the marine world off Pasikudha was an unforgettable experience, especially spotting dolphins dancing in the waves. The accommodations in Dambulla were comfortable and provided a perfect base to explore both the cultural sites and the stunning beach. I would have loved a bit more time for relaxation by the shore, but the blend of adventure and local delights made this trip truly special.

From the moment I set foot on the sandy shores, I knew this journey was going to be unforgettable. Witnessing whales and dolphins frolic in their natural habitat was a surreal experience, bringing a sense of wonder that I hadn’t anticipated. The cultural excursions were equally delightful, with each meal offering a taste of the local flavors and traditions that I was eager to explore; however, I would have appreciated a bit more time to enjoy the markets and interact with the locals.

The cultural richness I experienced while exploring Dambulla was truly captivating, especially the local cuisine and traditions. The accommodations were comfortable, making it easy to unwind after memorable days spent watching dolphins and whales off Pasikudha Beach, though I would have appreciated a bit more time to relax by the shore.
