This exciting full day tour will take you to some destinations. The time in each destination can be flexible as your request as long as it doesn’t affect the whole plan.
At the departure time, you will be greeted and picked up by an English speaking guide. You will be transferred to a pier on Nam Ou River to embark on a boat heading to a small village. Coming to this village, you will explore daily activities of the locals and understand more about their lifestyle. The guide will always be there to help you interact with them.
Leaving this village, you start your trekking journey through small streams and rice fields to reach the base of the 100 waterfalls. In a few hours in this area, you will have a chance to be completely immersed in nature of jungle, water and the sound of waterfalls pouring. In addition, you can enjoy yourself with refreshing swimming in pools around.
After that, you will walk along the falls to the point where a local style lunch is available. The lunch will be much tastier in the space of nature and sound of waterfalls cascading.
After lunch and a short rest, you will continue trekking down along a small trail into the valley. Along the way, don’t forget to keep your camera handy to capture fantastic views of scenic landscapes of the Nam Ou valley.
Hiking back to the village, you will spend more time strolling around and observe the daily life here. Then, you get on boat to cruise back to Nong Khiaw. The tour ends.
