Where you stay
Our home base is Castri Village Hotel in Palekastro, where the mountain bikers are staying and where all trips begin. It is a small-scale, pleasant and quietly located hotel on Kouremenos Hill, at about 300m from one of the most beautiful beaches in eastern Crete. The (studio) flats lie scattered on the hill in small Cretan houses. They all have a terrace with a spectacular view of Kouremenos Bay and Castri Hill. Breakfast is served next to the pool. In the evenings you can sit and talk over your “heroic exploits” of the day at the bar, also offering a great view of the bay. There are worse places to stay … Close to Paradise!
