Discover one of Nepal’s hidden gems with the Mardi Himal Trek—a scenic journey through lush forests, charming villages, and breathtaking mountain ridges. Located in the Annapurna region, this moderate trek offers stunning close-up views of Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, and Mardi Himal. Ideal for those with limited time, the trail is less crowded yet incredibly rewarding. Starting from the beautiful lake city of Pokhara, the 6-day trek takes you up to 4,450 meters, culminating at Mardi Himal Base Camp. A perfect blend of culture, nature, and adventure awaits!

Inclusions

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative from Naata Trek and Tours will be waiting to welcome you, holding a placard with your name. You will then be transferred to your designated 3-star hotel. In the evening, enjoy a warm welcome dinner hosted by Naata Trek and Tours featuring authentic Nepalese cuisine—your first taste of Nepal’s vibrant food culture.

Day 2 Drive to Pokhara (910m)

After breakfast, we’ll have a pre-trip meeting where you’ll meet your guide and have the opportunity to ask any questions about the journey ahead. Then, we begin our scenic drive to Pokhara, with views of rivers and lush green hills along the way. Upon arrival, enjoy the sunset at the famous Lakeside area, a vibrant tourist hub with pubs, bars, and restaurants.

Day 3 Pokhara – Phedi – Dhampus – Deurali (2,200m)

After breakfast, a short drive (approximately 40 minutes) takes us to Phedi. From there, we begin our trek with a 1.5-hour walk to Dhampus, a picturesque Gurung village. We then continue for about 2 more hours to reach Deurali, where we spend the night in a local tea house.

Day 4 Deurali – Low Camp (2,970m)

After breakfast, we begin a steady uphill climb, gradually emerging from the forest onto open grassy trails, sometimes blanketed in snow. As we near Low Camp, panoramic views of Annapurna South and Mt. Machhapuchhre become more prominent. After a 6–7 hour trek, enjoy a hot cup of tea and the stunning scenery at our tea house.

Day 5 Low Camp – High Camp (3,540m)

We start early to catch the breathtaking sunrise. The trail ascends along snowy pasture ridges, gradually climbing above the tree line where the air gets thinner and cooler. After trekking for 4–5 hours, we reach High Camp, where we rest for the night.

Day 6 High Camp – Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,230m) – Return to High Camp

Today is the highlight of our trek. The trail is narrow and rugged, winding across ridges and open grasslands. After 4–5 hours of hiking through pristine wilderness, we arrive at Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,230m), with stunning views of Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre (6,993m), Singhachuli (6,500m), Annapurna I, and Annapurna South (7,219m). After enjoying the views, we return to High Camp for the night.

Day 7 High Camp – Siddhing (1,700m)

After breakfast, we take an alternative descent route that adds diversity and fresh perspectives to our journey. This path leads us away from the more traveled trails and into quieter areas, eventually arriving at Siddhing, a peaceful and less-crowded village where we spend the night.

Day 8 Siddhing – Drive to Pokhara

Our final trekking day begins like the others—with an early breakfast and a walk through tranquil landscapes. After 2–3 hours of hiking, we reach the road where our vehicle awaits. We drive back to Pokhara, with free time in the evening to explore the city’s vibrant nightlife.

  • Driving Time: ~1.5–2 hours
Day 9 Drive to Kathmandu

After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu, reliving the incredible memories of the trek. After some rest and freshening up at the hotel, enjoy a farewell dinner hosted by Naata Trek and Tours in the evening.

Day 10 Departure from Kathmandu

A Naata Trek and Tours representative will escort you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure flight. We bid you farewell and hope to see you again for another adventure!
