Day 1 Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

Start your safari with a pickup in the morning at your hotel or airport and depart for Lake Nakuru through the view point of the great rift valley escarpment, a stopover at the great rift valley escapement for spectacular views and photos, then proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving at mid-morning, enjoy your game drive, Then later check in at the lodge for lunch, After lunch proceed for afternoon game, Nakuru National Park is rich
with over 350 bird species, the greater and lesser flamingoes, plovers, marabou stork, white pelican, egrets and not forgetting the white and black rhinos, Rothschild Giraffe, lion, zebra, Antelope, buffalo and other wild animals. Dinner and overnight at Buraha Zenoni resort or similar.

Day 2 Lake Naivasha to Nairobi

Wake up early morning for the full breakfast, and drive to the nearby Lake Naivasha, proceed to crescent island using a boat ride, where you will take a walk. The shores host abundant birdlife especially huge numbers of pelicans, cormorants and fish-eagles with their haunting cry. There are more animals per acre than any other Kenyan Park, hence herds of Wildebeeste, Waterbuck, Zebra and Gazelle. Hippo graze all over at night then sleep under the acacia or rest in the water by day. The giraffe who were born on
the Island return to give birth; sometimes you see three generations at a time. The
many pythons who do live here can be seen occasionally with a kill. Groups of
Buffalo come and go, but they are always monitored. Then you leave the island for
Nairobi arriving at the evening, drop off to your hotel or airport to mark the end of our safari.

We had an amazing time immersing ourselves in the diverse wildlife and mesmerizing birdlife during our getaway, especially the scenic boat ride that offered a whole new view of the landscape.

Experiencing the vibrant wildlife and stunning scenery on this safari was truly unforgettable, with highlights including a breathtaking boat ride surrounded by birdlife. The accommodations were comfortable, though a bit more variety in meals would have been a nice touch to enhance the overall experience.

Our two-day adventure was filled with stunning birds and fascinating wildlife that left us in awe. The cozy accommodations provided a perfect base for our scenic boat ride, although an earlier start on the second day would have given us even more time to soak in the beauty around us.
