A small group horseback riding tour in the snow

Enjoy the silence of the wilderness and experience the relaxing time at the lake! We use electric engine and small boat to move on the lake. Fishing is a traditional way to catch your lunch. Fishing is a real thing in the beautiful lake scenery. The fishing season begins in June when the lake is free from ice. We Finns, call fishing as a Finnish meditation.If you are lucky, you might catch, for example, perch, white fish, or rainbow trout that we cook on an open fire afterwards. Gazing the horizont will clear your 'hard drive' quickly and efficiently. However, a jolt at the rod will just as promptly sharpen your hunting instinct to the extreme, welcome! In the summertime we might go to mighty rivers as well.

Fishing

Meet on location: This experience has no pick-up service, customers have to make their way to our meeting point.

Please Note

Lucky Ranch is located near Pyhä-Luosto National park at the lake Pyhäjärvi, only 10 minutes drive from the year-round activity resort and ski resort Pyhätunturi. You reach us by car, or when booking a tour with us, you can book pick up (return transfer) either from Pyhätunturi or Luosto.

The nearest airport is in Rovaniemi, approximately 1,5 – 2 hours' drive to Pyhätunturi, and the nearest railway station is in Kemijärvi from where there is a bus connection to Pyhätunturi. (Please always check the public timetable in advance. We are also glad to help you with planning your trip to us!) Welcome!
