Our adventure into the heart of the Andes was truly remarkable, offering both stunning landscapes and a glimpse into local culture. The transportation from Cusco was comfortable, although we felt a bit rushed at times, which limited our opportunities to engage with the vibrant communities along the way. The trek itself was invigorating, leading us to a breathtaking lake whose colors were simply mesmerizing, and we appreciated the knowledgeable guides who shared fascinating stories about the region’s history.

The trek was a fantastic way to immerse myself in the Andes, with the vibrant blue hues of the lake stealing my breath away as I reached the top. I did find the altitude a bit challenging at times, which made the last stretch uphill feel longer than expected, but the view was totally worth it.
