The Centre of Vietnam is the longest region of the country with over 1.000 kms from North to South. This region is encircled by mountains forming a natural border with Lao. Even if the Centre is less famous than Ha Noi, the Ha Long Bay or Ho Chi Minh City, it offers a very rich patrimony. Indeed, the Centre of Vietnam counts for four of the five national wonders registered to the UNESCO. Those are usually remains of the glorious past of Annam, the name given to this region under the French colonization.

Itinerary
Pick-up at Da Nang International Airport. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Da Nang.
Ba Na is one of the most fascinating areas in the region, where you can often experience four distinct seasons in a single day: spring in the morning, summer at noon, autumn in the afternoon, and winter in the evening.. One of the highlights of this stunning destination is the Golden Bridge, a 150-meter-long pedestrian bridge supported by two giant stone hands. This impressive structure connects the cable car station with the gardens, offering a scenic overlook and serving as a popular tourist attraction. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the beautiful natural landscape from a comfortable vantage point.
Beyond the Golden Bridge, you will find a charming French village, complete with a French Gothic-style cathedral, delightful restaurants, cobblestoned streets, and stunning gardens. There are numerous attractions to explore, including Linh Ung Ba Na Pagoda, Le Jardin Garden, and a complex of ancient villas. Linh Ung Ba Na Pagoda, built in 2004, features exquisite architectural design, highlighted by a 30-meter-high Buddha statue that rises majestically amid the clouds and mountains. Our adventure continues as we discover Tinh Tam Garden, Nghinh Phong Peak, Luna Castle, Eclipse Square, and Vong Nguyet Hill, all offering panoramic views of the region where we can enjoy the panoramic views the areas have to offer. Overnight in Hoi An.
In the morning, embark on an unforgettable bicycle ride through the picturesque countryside of Hoi An, where the lush vegetable fields of Tra Que Village offer a glimpse into the region's agricultural traditions. As you cycle through the vibrant green landscape, immerse yourself in a hands-on cooking experience. Join a local family in crafting the delicate “white rose” dumplings, a Hoi An specialty, and learn the art of preparing Cao Lau, the region’s renowned noodle dish. Alongside these, savor unique local treats like Banh Dap (a crunchy rice cracker) and Che Bap (a sweet corn dessert), offering a true taste of Hoi An’s rich culinary culture.
In the afternoon, take a scenic journey to the ancient My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where the Champa Kingdom flourished from the 4th to the 13th centuries. Explore the towering temples, nestled in a lush valley, and learn about the kingdom's unique blend of Hindu influences. The site offers not only stunning views but also a fascinating look into the spiritual and political history of Southeast Asia. This tour provides a deep connection to the cultural and historical roots of the region, combining both culinary delights and ancient heritage. Overnight in Hoi An.
Free time all day to explore Hoi An on your own or take optional tour with Hoi An Express. Overnight in Hoi An.
Have breakfast at the hotel and relax until the time of transfer to Da Nang International Airport for your departure flight.

Our family loved the blend of breathtaking views and rich flavors during our five days in Da Nang, especially finding ourselves captivated by the golden bridge and its majestic surroundings. While the culinary experiences in Hoi An were fantastic, we felt that a bit more time for leisurely exploration would have enhanced our overall enjoyment.

Exploring the culinary scene in Hoi An was a delightful surprise for us, with each dish telling a unique story of the region’s rich flavors. The experience of stepping onto the iconic bridge was visually stunning, and we appreciated the blend of culture and cuisine throughout the trip. One suggestion for improvement would be to include a bit more time at each meal; we would have loved to savor the delicious dishes even longer.
