Hoa Lư

Hoa Lu, located in Ninh Binh Province, was the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th centuries during the Dinh and Early Le dynasties. It served as a political, economic, and cultural center of the country. The site is surrounded by majestic limestone mountains, which provided natural fortification. Today, visitors can explore temples dedicated to Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh, ancient ruins, and enjoy the scenic beauty of the region. Hoa Lu is an important historical and cultural site, reflecting Vietnam’s early dynastic history.

Mua Cave

Mua Cave, located in Ninh Binh, is a popular destination known for its stunning panoramic views of the Tam Coc rice fields and the surrounding karst landscape. The highlight of Mua Cave is the 500-step climb up to the peak of Mua Mountain, where visitors are rewarded with breathtaking views of the countryside and the winding Ngo Dong River. The cave itself is small but is overshadowed by the beauty of the scenery at the top. It is often referred to as "the Great Wall of Vietnam" due to the stone steps leading to the summit. Mua Cave is a perfect spot for nature lovers and photographers.

Tam Coc boat ride

Tam Coc, often called the "Ha Long Bay on land," is a stunning natural attraction in Ninh Binh, known for its scenic river journey through limestone karsts, caves, and lush rice paddies. Visitors explore Tam Coc by boat, typically rowed by locals using their feet, as they glide along the Ngo Dong River. The name "Tam Coc" means "three caves," referring to the Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba caves that the boats pass through. The landscape is especially beautiful during the rice planting and harvesting seasons, when the fields are vibrant green or golden. Tam Coc offers a peaceful and picturesque experience, blending natural beauty with local culture.

Bich Dong Pagoda

Bich Dong Pagoda, located near Tam Coc in Ninh Binh, is a beautiful ancient pagoda complex set against a dramatic backdrop of limestone mountains. Built in the 15th century, the pagoda consists of three levels: Ha (lower), Trung (middle), and Thuong (upper) pagodas, which are partially built into a cave system. Visitors can explore the peaceful temple surroundings, with stone steps leading up through lush greenery and into the caves where statues of Buddha and other deities are housed. The top of Bich Dong offers serene views of the surrounding rice fields and karst landscapes. Known as the "Pearl Cave Pagoda," Bich Dong is a harmonious blend of natural beauty and spiritual architecture, making it a serene stop for travelers.
