Bukit Melawati

also known as Melawati Hill, is a historical hill and popular tourist destination in Kuala Selangor, Malaysia. It was originally a fortress built by Sultan Ibrahim of Selangor in the late 18th century to protect against potential attacks. Today, visitors can explore remnants of the fortress, visit a lighthouse offering panoramic views of the Malacca Strait, and encounter resident silvered leaf monkeys and friendly resident silvered leaf monkeys.

Step 2

Visitors embark on a boat ride to witness mesmerizing displays of synchronous fireflies lighting up the mangrove trees along the riverbank. Additionally, the tour includes a chance to witness bioluminescent plankton, known as blue tears, illuminating the waters, creating a surreal and unforgettable natural spectacle.

For those who are taking monorail kindly get down at Bukit Nanas Station which is just a 3 minutes walk to MATIC. You will be given a video guidance on how to get there, one day before the booking.
