The Roluos group, dating from the late ninth century, is the earliest site of the 600-year Angkor Period. A half-day excursion will surely give you a great temple exploration and a good chance to discover the beginning of the Classic Period of Khmer art.
Roluos Countryside - Siem Reap
At 08:00 for the morning tour and 14:00 for the afternoon tour, our guide will pick you up at your hotel and drive to the Roluos Group.
Only 15 km from Siem Reap, the Roluos Group is a collection of monuments representing the remains of Hariharalaya, the first major capital of the Angkorian-era Khmer Empire.
Have a short guided walking tour to explore the three temples Bakong, Lolei and Preah Ko. They have similar characteristics of architecture, decoration, materials and construction methods, which combine to reveal the beginning of the Classic Period of Khmer art.
Later take an ox cart ride to visit Roluos Pagoda. Here, the Buddhist monks will take place a private blessing ceremony for you, wishing you all the best.
Back to Siem Reap after the half day tour. The tour ends around 12:00 or 18:00 at your hotel.
