About This Tour

Coming to Hoi An, you will have a variety of choices beside visiting the ancient town, admiring the colorful lanterns, relaxing in high standard sea resorts or enjoying tasty local seafood. The Hoi An countryside also boasts its unique cultural features. Let’s join us on half-day tour to become a true farmer with planting vegetable, catching fish, plowing on the fields, riding a buffalo, seeing ducks swimming along the rice farm and farmers tending their crops around Hoi An countryside. As well you will experience the friendliness of the local people greeting you along the way

    8:00: Tour guide meets you at your hotel in the morning and then starts heading to Tra Que vegetable village.

    8:30 – 9:30: Upon arrival at the village, we take some minutes to relax and enjoy the special drink of the locals here. Then we visit around the garden, listen to tour guide introducing about the long tradition of planting organic vegetables by using special tactics and procedures. Then, you will have the opportunity to practice hoeing soil, preparing beds and watering vegetable with local farmers.

    9:30-10:00: leaving the herb garden behind, we continue biking through rice paddy fields, stop at some duck farms and shrimp farms to take photos to visit the 7 hectares forest of water coconut.

    10:00-10:45: when we arrive, we will take some minutes to relax, enjoy the sweet water coconut - the specialty of this place while interacting with locals and hearing them explain the vital role of the forest in the past war.

    10:45-12:00: Following your tour guide to visit local houses made of coconut leaves and watch craftsman weave the coconut leaves into the house roof. Then, we will learn to paddle the strange and unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats, participate in activities such as boat race, visit coconut forest, spread a net, and catch crab.

    12:00-13:00: Having lunch at a local restaurant

    13:00 -14:00: Returning to your hotel.
