1. Pickup in Tromsø
Pickup from your accommodation or agreed meeting point in Tromsø. Meet your professional photographer guide and receive a short briefing about the night’s aurora forecast, weather conditions, and photography plan.
Total duration: up to 8 hours (depending on weather and aurora activity)
2. Aurora Photography Locations
Travel into dark Arctic landscapes carefully selected for Northern Lights photography. Locations are chosen based on real-time weather and sky conditions, focusing on strong compositions and minimal light pollution.
3. Guided Aurora Photography & Portraits
Hands-on photography guidance from a professional photographer, including camera settings, tripod use, and composition. Guests receive individual and group portraits under the Northern Lights when conditions allow.
4. Campfire, Warm Drinks & Light Snacks
Enjoy hot chocolate, warm drinks, Norwegian chocolate, corn snacks, and light refreshments by a campfire when conditions permit, while continuing to monitor aurora activity.
5. Flexible Route Adjustment (If Needed)
If conditions change, the route may be adjusted to improve photography opportunities. The focus remains on quality locations and sufficient time for shooting rather than distance covered.
6. Return to Tromsø
After the final photography session, return to Tromsø with drop-off at your accommodation.
