About This Tour

The tour starts with the visit to Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary. Back in 1989, the Malaysian Wildlife Sanctuary established an elephant sanctuary within the Krau Wildlife reserve for rare Asian Elephants. This elephant sanctuary functions as a rehabilitation centre for the rescued elephants. As of today, around 1200 elephants are estimated to be in the wild territory of Malaysia and approximately in this sanctuary there are about 30 to 35 elephants are living in the Kuala Ganda Elephant Sanctuary.

These elephants were migrated due to the continued poaching and logging for urban and agricultural development within the area. This conservation method was initiated to preserve the species, care for the young before they are released to the wild. The elephants which can’t survive by their own will be in the sanctuary life long, then they will be trained to become the working community that serves to rescue the new wild needy elephants. Tourists can engage in several activities with elephants. They can go near to have real interactions with these mammoth beings.

Those who prefer to watch and observe can also do so at the observation deck set higher up. Guests will be receiving the full tour private tour package including entrance fees, lunch with drinks, and free wifi on selected vehicles. This tour will take you to Kuala Gandah which is in Temerloh within the district of Pahang. The trip will take one and a half hours and guests will get to experience elephant feeding, elephant bathing

(If situation permits/ viewing only), an elephant conservation documentary, and a complimentary visit to the King’s Palace (photo stop). After the exciting day with the elephants, tourist will be provided with local lunch. On the way out from the sanctuary, guest will experience a view of the indigenous village (tribal/ native community). The deer land is also an interesting part of the tour where the tourist will be able to walk around and feed deers in a private mini zoo. The next stop will be at a batik factory which will showcase the local traditional art of free-hand drawn batik.

The tour then continuous to a journey that will take one hour twenty minutes towards Kuala Selangor where the tourists get to ride the boat up the river to see magical fireflies and blue tears. Firstly, they will go to Bukit Melawati where they can interact with the Silverleaf Monkey. A Malay Village pass by is also scheduled as a part of the tour. This tour is inclusive of a nice seafood dinner and the boat ride along the river in Kuala Selangor.

A complete set of magical activities are lined up for tourists when they avail of our tour. We have the enchanting night boat ride where they get to see the magnificent light show provided by fireflies. A delicious dinner also awaits after the tour. It also includes a visit to the Malay Village, Sri Shakthi Devasthanam and Bukit Melawati.

Fireflies and Blue Tear Boat Tour

This boat tour will let you see the fireflies hovering on the river in Kuala Selangor. It takes about half an hour to complete the tour while you’re in the middle of the tour the boat stops at a station where you can observe the light show.

Seafood Dinner

Before the firefly boat tour, you will have dinner at one of the many seafood restaurants inside the park. These restaurants are known for its delicious seafood dishes which is located near the waterfront. Your guide will take you to the best restaurant of that row.

Malay Village Pass By

An underappreciated part of the tour is the Malay village that has been maintained along the river. There continue to be natives residing in the area where traditional houses and their culture are preserved. It is a good educational experience for both locals and foreigners taking our tour.

Sri Shakthi Devasthanam

Sri Shakti Devasthanam Temple in Bukit Rotan is being constructed strictly in accordance with the ancient scriptures such as the Vedas, Agamas and Sirpa (architectural) Sastras. This hindu deity took 14 years to build, tourist will enjoy the mesmerizing work of art and culture.

Bukit Melawati

Your tour guide will also accompany you to the Bukit Melawati peak to enjoy the scenery. This is a historical place because it is where the old Malaysian Fortress stood. Tourists will learn more about Malaysian history during this tour.

Silverleaf Monkey Feeding

While you’re in Bukit Melawati peak, you will have an opportunity to interact with the Silverleaf Monkey which is also a native species in the area. These are unique apes because the younger silverleaf monkeys have golden hair. You get to feed and interact with them during scheduled feeding sessions
