One of Argentina's most impressive industries has been agriculture and cattle raising. In this 9-hour private tour you will get to know the history and the insights of these two combined. Visit an Estancia, South American equivalent of a ranch/farm, and take in the culture of the Pampas. Taste an autenthic argentinian barbecue and enjoy a folkloric show.

Visit the town of San Antonio de Areco, where you will become acquainted with a "pulpería", a typical establishment in South America where the main provisions were sold. You will get to see how a craft chocolate shop works and learn the history of the town before you reach the Estancia.
Argentina is well known for its vast farmlands. Since the country´s formal organization as a national entity in the second half of the 19th century, it followed an agricultural and livestock export model of development with a large concentration of crops in the fertile Pampas.
Once on the farm, you can take a ride on the horses or go for a ride in a sulky, 2-wheeled cart, while enjoying a buffet of traditional cold cuts, cheeses and beverages.
At lunchtime the group will enjoy a typical country-style barbecue prepared using only the finest quality meats. Dessert is accompanied by a folklore show, which is followed by a demonstration of gaucho skills.
This whole package will give you an outlook on the Argentinian countryside and its history.

Every moment spent on this enchanting island was a discovery, from the awe-inspiring moai statues to the stunning beaches where we soaked up the sun. One highlight was enjoying a traditional meal of fresh fish with local flavors while seated by the ocean, although we wished there had been a few more family-friendly dining options available in Hanga Roa.

The accommodations were cozy and offered a comfortable retreat after our daily excursions, though a few nights felt a bit cramped for our family. Overall, this journey was a memorable blend of relaxation and discovery that left us wanting to learn more about the island’s rich heritage. Just a heads-up, be prepared for some early morning starts, but it’s absolutely worth it!
