Cellars Branesti and restaurant ”Epoca de piatră”

The "Epoca de Piatră" tourist complex at Brănești Winery, which boasts the third-largest underground cellar in Moldova (after Milestii Mici and Cricova), opened its doors to visitors in September 2016. Unique in its design and location, the complex offers a rare experience where visitors can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the Stone Age, with minimal modern interventions. Situated in an old limestone mine, the winery’s galleries span over 75 km and cover 75 hectares of land.

The entire complex is built at a depth of 60 meters, maintaining a constant temperature of 12-14°C and humidity of 90-92%, making it ideal for wine aging. Currently, the winery is working on launching Moldova's first underground hotel, a mysterious and fascinating venture that promises to captivate visitors. The hotel will offer an exploration of a medieval town, hidden deep underground with a network of beautifully designed limestone tunnels and caves.

Visitors will experience dimly lit corridors, shadowy tunnels, and discover stories, legends, and various types of rooms and spaces that will transport them to a different time and place.
