You will spend around 15 minutes in the square to get all the information from the guide

Blloku

Blloku is an upmarket area in Tirana, Albania. It is widely known as an entertainment destination with its boutiques, shops, restaurants, trendy bars, pubs, and cafes. The area is part of the neighborhood of Tirana e Re in southwestern Tirana. During the peak summer months, its trendy bars transfer along the Albanian Riviera.  It became very attractive after the fall of Communism in Albania because during the communist period it was a restricted residential area for the members of the Albanian politburo, ordinary Albanians would not be allowed in. On most maps it was unmarked. In Blloku you can still find the residence of Albania’s communist leader Enver Hoxha.

Tirana

️ National History Museum (Outside visit or optional entry) Stand before the museum’s iconic “The Albanians” mosaic, one of the most important artworks in the country. Your guide will decode the symbols and characters depicted — from Illyrian warriors to modern revolutionaries — illustrating Albania’s complex journey through the ages.  Optional: Step inside for a deeper exploration of archaeological discoveries, medieval artifacts, and the country’s turbulent 20th-century history. Your guide can highlight the most important rooms for a focused visit.  3. Et’hem Bey Mosque Enter one of Tirana’s oldest and most enchanting monuments. Admire the mosque’s delicate frescoes portraying trees, waterfalls, and bridges, rare themes in Islamic art. Your guide will share the remarkable story of how thousands of citizens reopened the mosque in 1991, marking a turning point during Albania’s transition from dictatorship to democracy.

4. Pyramid of Tirana A short walk brings you to the city’s most controversial structure. Originally dedicated to Enver Hoxha, it later stood abandoned for years — covered in graffiti and used as a giant slide by locals. Recently transformed into a creative tech hub, the Pyramid now symbolizes Tirana’s youthful energy and reinvention. Explore its new terraces, co-working spaces, and open-air platforms.

After exploring the city, head to a local culinary studio or a traditional village-side restaurant near Tirana. Instead of cooking, relax and enjoy a guided tasting led by a local chef or host. Culinary Tasting in a Traditional Restaurant (Village Side of Tirana) Welcome drink: Fresh seasonal juice or a sip of homemade rakia Guided Food Tasting A local culinary expert will introduce you to the flavors and stories behind some of Albania’s most beloved dishes. Instead of preparing them, you’ll enjoy a curated tasting menu featuring: Byrek me Spinaq – flaky savory pastry filled with spinach Tavë Kosi – baked lamb with yogurt, Albania’s iconic national dish Fërgesë Tirane – peppers, tomatoes, and cottage cheese slow-cooked to creamy perfection Bakllava or Kabuni – traditional dessert option, depending on the season Throughout the tasting, you’ll discover the cultural background, ingredients, and family traditions behind each recipe
