You will be picked up from your hotel in Colombo at 3.00 am or 8.30 am and driven to Yala, which is about 3.30 hours away. You will arrive at the park around 6.30 am or 12 pm and start your half-day jeep safari. You will drive through the park with an experienced guide who will help you spot and identify the animals. You will be driven back to Colombo and dropped off at your hotel after finishing the safari. Yala National Park

is a huge area of forest, grassland and lagoons bordering the Indian Ocean, in southeast Sri Lanka. It’s home to wildlife such as leopards, elephants and crocodiles, as well as hundreds of bird species. Inland, Sithulpawwa is an ancient Buddhist monastery. Nearby caves contain centuries-old rock paintings. Southwest, Magul Maha Viharaya also has ancient Buddhist ruins. Both are pilgrimage sites.
