We had an unforgettable experience exploring Inca heritage sites during our five days in Cusco. One of the highlights was waking up early to catch the sunrise over Machu Picchu; the way the mist rolled off the ancient stones is something we’ll never forget. The guides were knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about the history, making each site come alive. However, the accommodations, while comfortable, could have used a bit more attention to detail, particularly with breakfast options. Overall, the breathtaking landscapes and rich culture made it a journey worth taking.

Our time exploring the ancient sites around Cusco was truly enriching. One standout moment was sitting on a terrace at our cozy hotel, sipping mate de coca while watching the sun set behind the mountains. We loved wandering through the Sacred Valley, where the remnants of Inca civilization felt very much alive. However, one minor drawback was the occasional large group that crowded some of the more popular spots, making it harder to soak in the atmosphere. Overall, the blend of heritage, stunning landscapes, and the chance to explore Machu Picchu together created memories we’ll cherish forever.
