ITINERARY

Your journey begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Cusco. From there, we will travel to our ceremonial center, located approximately one hour away from the city. Set in a serene and natural environment, the retreat center offers the ideal setting for spiritual connection and healing.

Upon arrival, you'll have time to settle in, relax, and begin to center yourself through meditation and quiet reflection.

The Ayahuasca Ceremony will begin, led by a Master Shaman with profound ancestral knowledge. We recommend the Nightceremony, which offers the most conducive atmosphere for deep introspection and spiritual guidance.

The ritual begins with the Shaman invoking the spirits of nature and asking for permission from the sacred plant and the universal forces. This sacred invocation sets the tone for a ceremony that is respectful, powerful, and deeply connected to the natural world.

Throughout the experience, the Shaman will chant icaros (spiritual songs), play ritual instruments, and use Mapacho (sacred tobacco) to cleanse and protect the energy of the space and participants. The ceremony is a journey of deep self-exploration and emotional release.

The experience typically concludes around midnight (Nightceremony), after which participants can rest and reflect in the peaceful ambiance of the center. To close the night, there will be a short integration circle where participants may share their experiences. The Shaman will offer guidance to help interpret visions and insights gained during the ceremony.

You may choose to return to your accommodation that same night, or rest the night at the retreat center and return to Cusco the following morning around 7:00 a.m.(Night Ceremony).

This is a sacred, deeply transformative ritual, held in an atmosphere of respect, safety, and spiritual care.

------
Before the ceremony :

We will arrange a brief meeting with our guide one or two days before the ceremony. This important visit offers you the chance to ask any final questions, receive essential guidance, and mentally prepare for the experience. During this meeting, you will also be given the Volcanic Medicinal Water, a traditional detox drink that helps cleanse the body before the Ayahuasca ritual. For best results, we recommend drinking it the day before the ceremony, around 4:00 p.m.. This detox process will support physical purification and deepen your connection with the sacred plant medicine during the ceremony.

Meeting / Pickup

Meet on location or pick-up: Customers can come to our location or we can pick them up on request.

Please Note

  • To ensure a safe and transformative Ayahuasca experience, it is essential to follow a specific diet and preparation protocol. Ideally, you should adopt a vegetarian diet at least 2 days before the ceremony, eliminating red meat and all animal-derived products during the last two days. It is strongly advised to avoid processed and irritating foods, such as spicy dishes, caffeine (coffee, tea, energy drinks), alcohol, and all types of drugs or pharmaceutical medications. Dairy products and sexual activity should also be avoided. On the day of the ceremony, it is best to fast as much as possible, drinking only water. If necessary, you may eat a small portion of fruit in the morning. Additionally, we recommend physical and mental rest the day before & the day after the ceremony and to maintain the dietary restrictions for three days afterward to enhance integration and healing.
  • During the ceremony, it is common for participants to experience nausea, dizziness, or vomiting — these are considered part of the purging and healing process, as Ayahuasca helps release emotional and physical blockages.
