Tour Plan

Aracaju
The cultural tour takes place both in the morning and in the afternoon with departure at 09:00 and 14:00

Calçadão da Praia Formosa
We begin our tour on the beach boulevard, here we will have the contrast of the beach and the city. We will start by seeing the space where the people exercise, enjoy their free time and where the sea greets us to come with us on this tour.

Aracaju City Park
We will arrive at the northern part of Aracaju, where the Jose Rolemberg Leite Park is located. Here are two attractions of the city, the first is the mini-zoo where we can see different species of lions, macaws, and quatis. The second attraction is the cable car that offers us a panoramic view of the park and the city. It is a short but very interesting circuit.

Municipal Markets Antonio Franco
We will pass through a complex that offers us a combination of culture, gastronomy and art. This market was restored to bring us the old to the modern. This space brings us closer to the gastronomy of the region such as tapioca flour, cheese, rapaduras (hardened brown sugar) and various types of cashew nuts, we can taste the local fruits, and we will have the opportunity to buy local crafts to take a souvenir of Aracaju. All this can be enjoyed accompanied by a sanfona, played by local artists.

Sergipana People's Museum
Our last stop is one of the last museums opened in the city. Since 2011 the city has a technology museum focused on the exhibition of material cultural heritage, the museum has several exhibition spaces and temporary exhibitions. This space pace also hosts cultural events that are already part of its calendar. At the end of this visit that will leave us full of the knowledge of the people of Sergipe, we will return to the hotels.

Pipa

This beautiful boat trip starts at noon and lasts all afternoon. During this time we will navigate the most charming lagoon of Rio Grande do Norte, the Guaraíras Lagoon! On board the incredible SoleMio Schooner, which is a separate attraction, we will enjoy beautiful scenery, including lunch and drinks

Guaraíras Lagoon

The Guaraíras Lagoon covers several municipalities, the most famous being Tibau do Sul! The waters of the lagoon serve as sustenance for various communities on its shore through fishing and tourism. But those calm waters were witness to battles at some point in Brazilian history, when the Dutch invaded northeastern Brazil. There are still ruins of a Dutch fort on the island of Flamengo!

But nowadays those who walk there witness the calm and beauty of the lagoon, with its rich fauna and flora. The lagoon has an extensive area of mangrove, which brings a very rich range of species from there. There are plenty of shrimp farms and we will visit an oyster farm! When the afternoon begins to fall the look changes and it is at sunset the great moment of the ride. Not by chance the sunset from there is considered the most beautiful of all Rio Grande do Norte! After witnessing this incredible moment, we returned to the hotel.

Exploring the vibrant markets and lush parks was a highlight for our group, as we immersed ourselves in the local culture. We appreciated the easy transportation between sites, which allowed us to soak in the sights without feeling rushed. The museums offered fascinating insights into the area’s history and artistry, although we wished for a bit more time at each stop to truly take it all in. One minor hiccup was the guide’s pace, which felt a tad fast for those of us eager to capture every detail. Overall, the experience left us with great memories and a deeper appreciation for the unique heritage of this lively city.
