As we leave for Ingiriya, you’ll have the chance to take in the stunning views of the lush greenery and immerse yourself in the essence of Sri Lankan life. From the initial withering of the leaves to the rolling room, shifting, grading, and meticulous packing, you'll see firsthand the steps that transform fresh leaves into the delicious Ceylon tea we all know and love.
After exploring the factory, we’ll also have the chance to taste a fresh cup of authentic Ceylon tea. It’s a treat that brings together centuries of tradition and craftsmanship. Trust me, you’re in for a delightful experience!
In addition, we’ll take a walk through the tea fields, where you can observe the breathtaking landscapes and learn about the intricate process of plucking the tea leaves. You might even get the chance to try plucking a few leaves yourself! It’s an immersive experience that will deepen your appreciation for the hard work that goes into every cup of tea.
