Step aboard in Catania’s port and start your sunlit sailing experience with a chilled welcome drink and a few local bites — just a preview of what’s to come. After a short briefing, we set sail along the Cyclops Riviera, with the warm glow of golden hour lighting up the lava-shaped coastline as we leave the city behind.
The atmosphere shifts as the sun begins its descent. You’re welcome to stretch out on deck, take photos, or try a few sailing basics — nothing too technical, just a chance to be part of the moment. Music plays in the background as we make our way toward the Ulysses Caves near Ognina.
There, we drop anchor for a swim or simply to enjoy the views from a quiet bay. Snorkeling gear, paddleboards, floaties, and a GoPro are all on board and ready for you. While you dry off or unwind, a Sicilian aperitif is served on board: a selection of local snacks paired with wine, beer, or your drink of choice.
As the light softens and the sea reflects the changing sky, we sail back toward Catania. It’s a simple but special way to close out the day — a little salt on your skin, a good glass in your hand, and the city lighting up as you return to port.
