Day 1 Hanoi - Cat Ba National Park trekking (L/D)
You will be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter at 08:00 to start driving to Dinh Vu Port. Then you will take a 10-minute speedboat ride to Cat Ba Island. Lunch in Cat Ba town.
In the afternoon, you will trek to Viet Hai village through Cat Ba National Park, a paradise for both birdwatching and sightseeing amidst the primeval forest and at Frog Lake. Along the way, you'll have a chance to see wild animals and thousands of butterflies, if you're lucky, you might come across one of the rare Cat Ba langurs.
Upon arrival, check in at a homestay or eco-lodge, where you’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night amidst the peaceful surroundings of Viet Hai.

Day 2 Cruises & Kayaking on Lan Ha bay (B/L/D)
Breakfast will be served at 07:30, then hike to the top of Marine Hill, which offers panoramic views of both Halong bay and Lan Ha bay. Then a cycling trip from Viet Hai Village to the dock, where you’ll board a boat for a full-day exploration of Lan Ha Bay. This adventure includes scenic cruising, kayaking through lagoons and caves, swimming in hidden spots, and savoring a freshly prepared lunch on board. After a day of adventure, followed by a boat ride to the area. Ben Beo floating fishing village where hundreds of households live floating on the sea. Dinner and overnight on the seashore hotel.
- OPTIONAL OVERNIGHT CRUISES: For a more relaxing experience, consider an optional overnight cruise on Lan Ha Bay for Day 2 and Day 3, featuring activities like kayaking. Contact our specialist to arrange this for you.

Day 3 Cat Ba National Park - Hanoi (B/L)
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will pick up to explore Cat Ba island and this is really a favorite sport of most adventurous tourists. We visit the military hospital cave and and trek to Ngu Lam Peak for a glimpse into the island’s history or driving around the scenic roads of Cat Ba. Midday, enjoy lunch at local restaurant before heading back to Hanoi by bus in the afternoon, arriving in the evening.
